I received wonderful medical care during a recent in-patient stay as a cardiac patient except not for being bed-bathed by ICU staff. Other than that, the more important issue of my medical care was great. In a patient survey when I was discharged, I noticed nothing was asked about the hospital social services department. The hospital has some problems there and I couldn't recommend anyone to work with the social worker but would recommend the hospital for medical care.
