How would I go about trying to find my mother's records? Her name was Mamie Grubbs Watkins Bowers. I was told by my family that she was put in a facility in the 1950s to 1960s. Her husband Ray Watkins put her there for 30 days at a time then she would come home and be fine for a while. That was her first husband. She married my father, Charles F. Bowers later and gave birth to me in April 1967. No one spoke of her much and what was wrong with her. Any help would be appreciated. Ray Watkins, Mamie and my dad, Charles Bowers are all deceased now. Thank you
